Context

Long left unoccupied, Albert André’s house was bequeathed by his adoptive daughter, Jacqueline Bret-André, to the Town of Laudun-l’Ardoise in order to preserve and promote the painter’s world.

In 2025, under the impetus of Mayor Yves Cazorla, the municipality launched an ambitious restoration program for the residence, with the aim of one day opening it to the public. This website represents the first step, marking the beginning of the renaissance of the Maison d’Albert André and contributing to the cultural and heritage influence of the town

At the same time, a digital project led by Enthalpie, a company specialized in the playful enhancement of heritage, aims to recreate the house as it appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. This immersive 3D reconstruction, scheduled for January 2026, is based on a rigorous historical approach: digitization of the house, use of archival materials, and faithful restitution of the furniture, objects, and period décor.
